Dedicate Recruitment is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Site Assistant position based in Dartford, Kent, working at a Catholic Boys' School. In this role, you will become an integral part of the Site Team, supporting the smooth operation of the school's facilities to facilitate effective teaching and learning. The Site Assistant will report to the Site & Compliance Manager and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including room set-ups, portering, security, health & safety procedures, litter picking, cleaning, and minor repairs. The role offers a varied day-to-day experience in a dynamic environment, with the potential for additional responsibilities such as cleaning hours, subject to discussion during interview. The ideal candidate should possess experience in caretaking or similar roles, with skills in plumbing, maintenance, or repairs being highly desirable. You should be physically able to work on your feet most of the day and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and responsibility.

This position offers a competitive salary of £28,221 (FTE) for 25 hours per week, with actual pay of approximately £19,598 based on a 52-week contract. Note: there is an opportunity for the right candidate to take on an extra 12 ½ hours per week as a cleaner – to be discussed at interview.
