This pivotal role involves managing the full recruitment cycle within the organisation's central services team, working closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure a smooth, compliant, and efficient recruitment process. The successful candidate will oversee everything from writing job descriptions and advertising vacancies, to sourcing candidates creatively, shortlisting, interviewing, and managing onboarding procedures. The role also includes maintaining accurate employee records, supporting employee engagement through promotional efforts, and ensuring all safeguarding and GDPR policies are adhered to. The Resourcing Officer will act as the face of the organisation for potential talent, maintaining a professional and approachable manner at all times.
- Minimum GCSE grade C+ / 4+ in Maths and English
- Experience in customer service and administrative roles, preferably within an office environment
- Knowledge of Safer Recruitment and KCSIE guidelines
- Candidate screening and interview experience, with familiarity with ATS systems
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work accurately under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining effective collaborative relationships
- Full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle is desirable
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £14.00 to £15.00, reflecting the level of responsibility and experience required. Working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, the appointment is initially temporary until 31 August 2026, with a strong likelihood of extension. The position provides a flexible working pattern, with hybrid working arrangements once settled—two days effective from home and three days in the office, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
